AZURE DRAGON’S FLIGHT EARRING

Also known as the ‘Spearhead Bluet’ due to the spear-like marking on the second segment of the male abdomen.
This species is considered as threatened with extinction in Flanders.

We decided to eternalise its beauty trough our elegant earrings.

Aquamarine was chosen for its resemblance in the piercing blue colour of the dragonfly.

An emerald cut aquamarine sits in the thorax, accompanied by seven baguette gemstones.

The gemstones are carefully set to mirror the segments of the long abdomen, set in 18K white gold.

The intricate wings are made of gold wire, delicately soldered to show off this remarkable feat of natural engineering.
