BEETLE’S BLUE RING

Known as the blue mint beetle, it munches away at the mint plants in your garden. Scientists believe this is the main reason they never develop halitosis. 

Its species name derives from the Latin noun for ‘dark blue’, clearly seen in the striking metallic blue surface of the beetle.

Indicolite Tourmaline was carefully chosen to resemble the iridescent greenish-blue colour of this tiny beetle.

The emerald cut Tourmaline is set in a cool 18K white gold, to perfectly compliment the dark blue gemstone.
